Teaching career exploration, lesson planning, and classroom observation skills. Two-week residential summer program for Detroit-area high school students exploring teaching careers. Students live on campus, earn a $1,000 stipend, and complete teaching projects with mentorship from WSU faculty.

Louisiana Aspiring Educator Summer Academy

Louisiana Department of Education & LSU

Education leadership skills and future-educator professional development. Free weeklong residential summer camp and professional learning experience for up to 100 aspiring educators from Louisiana. Students live in campus housing and build leadership skills with coaches from across the state.

Flight Path to Teaching Adventure

Design and teach literacy or STEM lessons to children ages 3-12. Free residential summer camp where rising juniors/seniors live on the Ball State campus and serve as apprentice teachers at a local summer learning program, designing and teaching their own lessons.
